Flea Says Hillel Slovak Documentary “Filled My Heart Right to the Top”

Flea says the new documentary about late Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Hillel Slovak “filled my heart right to the top.”

“I finally watched the new documentary about Hillel Slovak,” he posted on his Instagram stories. And while the band initially tried to distance themselves from the doc, Flea seems to have now fully embraced the project. “I’m so grateful it exists, and that more people will know how much he meant and continues to mean to us as a friend and bandmate. It is a beautifully made film and filled my heart right to the top, not without a good dose of lifelong melancholy. Hillel forever.”

Backrooms Trailer: Chiwetel Ejiofor Investigates the Unknown In Creepypasta A24 Adaptation

Inspired by a viral internet concept (aka creepypasta), Backrooms has the potential to be some truly creepy summer horror. The A24 movie, directed by Kane Parsons, stars Oscar nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor as a man who discovers a portal to an unexplained series of rooms, each eerier than the last.

The official description simply says “A strange doorway appears in the basement of a furniture showroom,” which doesn’t quite capture the chilling nature of this trailer’s slow reveals. Backrooms also stars Renate Reinsve, Mark Duplass, Finn Bennett, and Lukita Maxwell, and is based on the web series also directed by Parsons. Check out the new trailer below — the movie creeps in theaters on May 29th, 2026.

Netflix Increasing Prices Again for All Plans, Including Ad-Supported

Be prepared to pay extra for that next season of Bridgerton: Netflix is increasing its prices once again, including an increase for its Standard With Ads plan, which will leap $1 a month from $7.99 to $8.99. The Standard Without Ads plan will increase from $17.99 to $19.99, and should you desire Netflix’s Premium plan, which includes Ultra HD and HDR streaming plus the ability to stream to four devices at once, you’ll also be paying an extra $2 a month, from $24.99 to $26.99.

The updated pricing will go into effect for new Netflix customers beginning March 26th; per Variety, “existing members will be notified by email a month before the new prices are applied to them, with the timing depending on the individual member’s billing cycle.”

Netflix previously increased its prices in January 2025. But it’s not exactly like the company is hurting for cash: By bowing out of the battle to own Warner Bros. Discovery, the streamer is set to receive a $2.8 billion payout from Paramount Skydance.
