SNL alum Tina Fey will help launch Saturday Night Live UK as the series’ debut host on March 21st. Wet Leg will appear as the new show’s first musical guest.
SNL UK premieres at 10:00 p.m. local time on Sky One and Now, with episodes streaming in the US on Peacock the next day. Following Fey and Wet Leg, future episodes will feature Jamie Dornan and musical guest Wolf Alice on March 28th, and then Riz Ahmed and Kasabian on April 4th.
Following the same format of the original show — including a Weekend Update segment — SNL UK is executive produced by Lorne Michaels. According to Variety, Michaels and Fey’s fellow SNL alum Seth Meyers have been joining table reads in London over recent weeks as the cast and crew prepares to launch the expansion.
The cast of Saturday Night Live UK features Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi, and Paddy Young.
