At least for us here in the Northern Hemisphere, spring has officially begun to sprout, and beyond warming temperatures and blooming flower buds, the new season has also brought with it a lot of great new music. I mean, like, a lot of great new music.

In just the past few weeks, audiences of just about every genre had something wonderful to sink their teeth into. Pop fans looking to dance the night away were blessed with releases from Robyn, Raye, Harry Styles, BTS, and underscores, while metal heads rocked out to recent drops from Lamb of God or Neurosis. Hip-hop aficionados bumped to Lisha G as well as Denzel Curry’s new project, The Scythe, while country experimentalists were delighted by Sturgill Simpson’s latest Johnny Blue Skies record. The indie kids ate well, too, thanks to folks like Snail Mail, Gladie, Crack Cloud, and Girl Scout. Plus, Consequence favorites new and old graced us with high-quality tunes, from Kim Gordon to Morgan Nagler and Fcukers.

And that’s hardly all. Scroll on to see the complete list of the best albums of March 2026, listed in alphabetical order.
